THE DAIRY REGULATIONS.

The proposed dairy regulations threaten to work almost an insurrection among dairy farmers. One irate farmer yesterday waxed humourous over the matter in the e.xcess of his indignation. "Fancy having to whitewash everything," he ejaculated, more or less truthfully. "I got to work yesterday with the whitewash bucket and brush, end plastered even the dog with the mixture. When the cows saw the dog they got such a surprise that they bolted in a mob on sight of him. If the Inspector comes round and is not whitewashed there will be an argument for sure. He may go away whiter than he came."
