CROWN TENANTS IN NEW ZEALAND.
On March 31st, 1908, there were 24,179 Crown tenants in New Zealand; 9,926 held land on lease-in-perpetuity; 6,637 occupation with right of purchase; 4,095 lease-in-perpetuity holders are now in occupation and 3,187 have sold their in terests to others; 2,810 holders with right-of-purchase lands are now in occupation, and 2,143 have sold their interests. There are 2,581 tenants under the Lands for Settlement Act now in occupation, and 1,419 have sold their interests.
