The final football match of the season, for the Clarke Cup, was played at Rangitumau on Saturday last between the Rangitumau and Mauriceville teams, and resulted in a win for the former by 29 points to nil. Mr W. Harding was referee. Alter the match the visitors were entertained at afternoon tea by tha ladies of Rangitumau. The Rangitumau Club have won the Cup for tiie season, not having lost a match.
