TARATAHI-CARTERTON RACING CLUB.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Taratahi Carterton Racing Club was field at Carterton on Saturday afternoon. There were present —Messrs G. W. Deller (chairi, H. ,11. Bunny, L. Nix, H. Judd, H. Rayner, R. G. Kemble, S. C. Skelley, W. M. Halley, C. Reid, W. J. Denbee, and A. Daysh. It was reported that the Club had decided to join with the Wairarapa P. and A. Society in connection with the purchase of some turnstiles. The Secretary was instructed t® arrange for the catering at ihe forthcoming meeting. The recommendations of the delegates of the District Racing Clqbs in reference to complimentary tickets was adopted, with the exception that the clause in regard to stewards' tickets, that the words "Not to be given to local residents," be struck out. Mr W. W. Hercock was recommended for 9 gentleman rider's certificate. Four new members were elected.
