CHARGE AGAINST A STEWARD.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 20. On the arrival of the Monowai from Lyttelton to-day, a steward named John Dunlop was arrested by detective Lewis on a charge of assuiting a police constable at Lyttelton last evening, and using bad language. He will be brought up at the Court to-morrow morning, and probably remanded to Lyttf;! ton.
