FIRE IN CHRISTCHURCH

A fire occurred about 1.20 o'clock, this morning, in a building situated in Hereford street, occupied by tie Remington Typewriting Company; VV. Harvie, artist; Marshall's Proprietory Co.; Sims, Cooper and Co. ; and W. W. Davies, dentist. A portion tenanted by Harvie was completely burnt, while the rooms occupied by Marshall were slightly damaged before the brigade extinguished the fire. Harvie was insured for £350 in the New Zealand Insurance Office.
