SATISFACTION IN PIANOS.

"THE SPENCER."

Not many years ago the pianoforte was looked upon by the great majority of people as a luxury. To-day it is considered nothing short of a necessity in every home. The refining influence of music is so potent a factor in the character development of a crowing child that no conscientious parent can neglect making the addition of a piano to the furniture of the household. The selection of a piano, however, is a problem that requires more than passing consideration, for it is not an item in the household expenditure that can be renewed every twelve months. A good instrument should last a lifetime, and give satisfaction right along. In another column Messrs Inns and Goddard, of Queen Street, Masterton, announce that they have been appointed local agents for the Spencer. This piano is noted for strength of construction, breadth and beauty of tone, delicacy of action, and splendid orchestral power. The firm extend an invitation to prospective purchasers of pianos to call at their shop and test the "Spencer," feeling sure that its artistic and decorative appearance, and sweet, mellow tone will induce a purchase. A number of these pianos are now on view in the premises of Messrs , Inns and Goddaid. j
