MASTERTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
MONTHLY MEETING OF MANAGERS.
The Managers of the Masterton Technical School met last evening. There were present—Messrs E. Feist (chairman"!, E. H. Waddington, W. IT. Jackson, and J. M. Coradine.;, The treasurer reported as follows: —Balance at last meeting, £llß 4s lid; receipts since, £35 15s* credit balance, £153 19s lid. The Managers decided to have the new school officially opened on Thursday, November sth, and to invite His Excellency the Governor, the Minister for Education, and members of the late Premier's family to be present at the ceremony. A discussion ensued as to certain details in connection with the new Technical School. It was decide'' to communicate with tho the architects on the matter. It was resolved to draw the final cheque for completion of the school on the architect's certificate being presented, subject to tho amount set down for gas fitting being withheld until the latter are installed. Accounts amounting to £3O Is were passed for payment. A report by Messrs Jackson and Coradine on the appointments for the new building was adopted.
