SHOP DESTROYED BY FIRE.

By Telegraph—t-Tess Association. INVERCARGILL, August 31. This morning an old wooden shop in Tay Street, occupied by Mrs Fox, fruiterer, and H. Crawford, bootmaker, was destroyed by fire The building was owned by Mr Robert Erskine, and insured for .£IOO in the Royal Exchange. The contents of Mrs Fox's shop were insured fur £IOO in the Sun office.
