AMUSEMENTS.

THE MALLJNSONS.

The Mallinson song recital will take place next Friday evening at the Town Hall. A contemporary says:— "Mr Mallinson's songs are real lyrical gems, which may be compared in artistic work and style to the songs of Schubert. Madame Anna Mallinson is a singer of uncommon charm and intelligence. She has a high soprano voice of a beautiful even quality, and her production is delightfully easy." In addition to Mr and Mrs Mallinson, a clever young Russian violiniste, Miss Rebe Kussmann will make her appearance. The box plan is at Miss Rive's.
