"HUMPTY-DUMPTY."
The pantomime, "HumptyDumptv," will be staged at the Masterton Town Hall next Tuesday. The production comes with a big reputation for its spectacle comedy, and music. A lot of the mirth centres round amusing efforts to force a smile upon the features of the dolorous potentate, King Solium, his monarch is represented by Mr Bert Gilbert, one of the most prominent pantomime comedians on the stage to-day. Mr Victor Loydall's make,up and costumes as Queen Martha and his matrimonial antics are memories wherever he has been. Mr Harry Shine has also a quaint character to portray in Bison Bob, a circus proprietor. The speciality features include Messrs Queen and Le Brun's clowning and animal impersonations. The children of the pantomine are said to give a charming representation of the famous characters in nursery literature. The box plan will cpen at Miss Rive's to-reorrow morning.
