LONDON, August 2. The wool ! catalogued to date totals/ 201,583 bal"s; s?oL1 to Home buyers, for the Contnient, 75,500; American, 13,000; held over, 88,000. The recent weaker demand has led fo a relapse. Closing prices are mostly identical with May closing rates, the only exceptions being medium to"good merinos—both scoured greasy— 'j which are 7fcper cent, dea-er than in May; fine greasy crossbreds, which declined 5 per cent., and scoured crossbred, which are ajpenny cheaper. The following were the average prices realised for the fleece purtiors of the clips named:—Mangaohanc, 7id; Tehoa, 10|d.
