The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Smithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of meats are based on actual sales of not less than 100 carcases of mutton or lamb or 25 carcases of beef ,of fair average quality. These quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of siiii.mints now on the market:— , jJSfyw Zealand Sheep.—Crossbred Wethers and medium ewes—North Island, 55 to 651b, 3£d; best brands, > 3§d;rest unchanged. New Zealand Lambs.—Canterbury light, 28 to 361b, 5Jd; medium, s|d; heavy, 36 to 421b, s&d.', New Zealanhd Beef.—Ox fores, 180 to 2201b, 215-16 d; ox hinds, 180 to 2201b, 3Jd.
