TRIANGULAR TESTS

Received July 20, 8.301 a.m. LONDON, July 19. The "Observer" states that the County Committee had insufficiently digested the triangular test proposed bsfore sending it 9 representatives to Lords, and that they, in theirvoting, surprised everyone. Now, the Marylebone Club has made it possible for the counties to reconsider their decision. The "Observer" thinks it would he unfortunate to miss the opportunity for righting themselves with Australia. Notts, Gloucester and minor counties have passed resolutions in favour of an Australian team's visit in 1909. The Marvlebone's Club is awaiting a'requisition from five counties before the necessary convention to reconsider the matter can be held.
