CHARGE OF PERJURY.

BT TELEGRAPH—fRESS ASSOCIATION.

WESTPORT, July 20. In the charge of perjury against Connelly, Anders Anderson (who is under sentence for the manslaughter of Bourke), gave evidence to-day. He alleges that he never saw Bourke in his life, and saw Connelly for the first time during the fish shop row a couple of hours after the time Connelly alleged he saw him assault Bourke. Andersen traced his own movements from 7 p.m. till 11 p.m., declaring that he was never in the vicinity of the place where Bourke was found dying. Andersen was under examination for five hours. Halinan, the second prisoner, also gave evidence corroborating Andersen.
