' ECLIPSE STAKES. BY TELEGRAPH —FBESS ASSOCIATION. LONDON, July 17. At the Sandown Park meeting, the following was the result of the race for the Eclipse Stakes., of 10,000 sovs; the owner of the second horse to receive 800 sovs, and the third 115 sovs; for three and four-year-olds; three-year-olds to carry 8.6, four-year-clds 9.4 (mares and geldings allowed 31b). Neumann's "Siberia, Syrs, by St. Simon —Sirenia, 8.6... 3 DEMONSTRATION"ON THE COURSE. Received July 19, 4.35 p.m. LONDON, July 18. The crowd at Sandown Park received Mr Joel's victory in the Eclipse Stakes with savage outbursts of hoots and groans. Mr Siever's horse was running in the following race, and was vociferously chsered.
