AN UNFOUNDED REPORT.
BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, July 9. A report was abroad in Auckland last night to the effect that the Northern Company's steamer Claymore, from Onehunga to Raglan and Kawhia, was wrecked near Waikato Heads. The Claymore, however, arrived safely at Kawhia last evening. The report that she was showing distress signals : arose from the fact that the vessel was using sails.
