There is little to report in reference to ihe strike of Lakers. The position is unchanged. A few bakers are turning out a littie bread, and householders are doing "as best they can under the circumstances. It is estimated that about 7,000 loaves were distributed to-day, whereas the •jsual daily output is about 35,000 loaves.
The Timber Workers' Union passed a resolution of sympathy with the strikers to-night. The Drivers' Union met this'evening, anddecidsd not to call out the members of the Union who drive bakers' carts, but to leave them free to leave work on a week's notice if they have good reason to believe blackleg lab.»ur id being employed in bakehouses.
The master bakers and the strikers remain firm, neither dde'showiug the least inclination to yield.
