The stock was insured for £1,150 in the National office, but the loss is £I,OOO over this amount The building was insured for £4OO. NAPIER, June 22. S An eight-roomed dwelling in Ccole Toad, owned and occupied by T. P. Hafciin, was totally destroyed by fiie ■early this morning.' Tho flames had ,a good hold when discovered, and the inmates escaped with ' difficulty, • .■saving no clothing or furniture. Tho insurance on the house was ' £SOO and on the-furniture £2OO, both in the Sun office.
