SOLDIERS ILL-TREATED. SERGEANTS SENTENCED. Received June 15, 8.55 s.m. BERLIN, June 14. Two sergeants of the Fourth Guards, a crack German regiment, have been sentenced in Berlin to be degraded and imprisoned for fifteen and twelve months respectively, and two others to minor sentences, for belabouring recruits with riding whips, and using other forms of brutality.
