ENGLAND AND FRANCE.
FRENCH PRESIDENTS VISIT TO ENGLAND. ENTHUSIASM AT PARIS AND BOULOGNE. Received May 2G, 8.55 a.m. PARIS, May 25. There was great enthusiasm in connection with the departure of M. Fallieres and M. Pichon from Paris their visit to England. They also received an ovation at Boulogne. A WARM WELCOME. Received May 27, 12.51 a.m. LONDON, May 26. A flotilla of British destroyers met and escorted President Fallieres to a point off Shakespeare Cliff, where the garlanded fleet lay. The Leon Gambetta steamed between the lines, receiving the salute. The bands played the "Marseillaise," and the bluejackets cheered. The President was greatly pleased at the cordiality of the welcome at Dover. There was a brilliant reception at the Victoria Railway Station, where His Majesty King Edward warmly greeted President Fallieres. Enthusiastic crowds lined the streets, and the decorations in Grosvenor Place, Piccadilly and St. James' Street, were magnificent.
