HEAVY SLUMP ON WALL STREET. Received May 25, 9 a.m. NEW YORK, May 24. Heavy sellings and violent declines of stocks occurred on Wall-street. The stocks of several trans-conti-nental railways.fell five or six points on account of the Government's prosecution of the New York and New Haven-Hartford railway authorities. The week's '"transactions were the largest for the year, averaging a million shares daily.
