THREE MEN FINED. v CHRISTCHURCH, April 4. Four men who were arrested at a "two-up" school at Islington on March 31st were brought before Mr Day, S.M., Andrew Miller, Charles Waters and Matthew Walters were each fined 40s, and the case against Fritz Sutherland was dismissed. Inspector Dwyer said that the "school" had been in existence at Islington for two years, and "twoup" was rife there. A DENIAL. CHRISTCHURCH, March 4. The Rev. L. M. Isitt denies that he has any intention of contesting the Napier or any other seat at the next election.
