ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MURDER.

CHRISTCHURCH, April 4. Frederick Hall, who shot and wounded Alexander James Muir, at Lyttelton, on March 7th, was brought up on remand at the Lyttelton Police Court this morning, and charged with attempted murder. On the application of the police, who stated that Muir was still unable to appear, he was further remanded for eight days. Muir is stated to be progressing favourably, but it is not possible yet tc say when he will be able to appear

in the witness box.
