lii' TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, March 29. The final match of the Wellington Senior Cricket Championship, Old Boys v. Midland, was concluded on tne Baain Reserve on Saturday afternoon. Midland, with four wickets down tor nine runs, continued their seconid innings, but were all disposed of for a total of 46. The match was won by Old Boys by an innings and 199 runs. The scores were —Old Boys, 509; Midland, 264 and 46. DUNEDIN, March 29.

The cricket season was brought to/ a close yesterday in perfect weather. Grange defeated Albion by 144 runs. The former made 91 and 136, and the latter 41 and 42. In Albion second innings, Davis took seven wickets for 14 and Downes three for 23. Dunedin beat Carisbrook Aby six wickets. The former compiled 108 and 57 for four wickets, while the latter were disposed of for 52 and 111. Grange wins the Championship. CHRISTCHURCH, March 28.-

The cricket season was brought to a close in Christchurch to-day, when the weather was fine. Very little interest was taken in the senior games owing to the premiership having been won by West Christchurch. , The majority of teams played short handed. Results: —St. Albans, beat East Christchurch; Riccarton 151, and 52, beat Linwood 142 and 62 for two.
