YVELLINTON PONY RACES. BT TELEGRAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, March 29. The second meeting of the Wellington Pony and Galloway Club, which had been postponed from the previous Saturday was held at Miramar, today, in fine weather. The attendance was about two thousand. Auckland ponies won four out of the six events. Thirty-two bookmakers took out licenses. Results:—
Maiden, 5 furlongs—Winnie 1, Lady Mason 2, Dan O'Comull 3. Trial— Balgowie 1, Puketotara 2, Normandale 3.
March Handicap—Mutineer (late Dr. Quest) 1, Inspiration 2, Kauhoe
Seatoun Handicap—Herculean 1, Kitty 2, Caosina 3. Tradesmen's Purse —Weka 1, Belle Vue 2, Marquis 3. Flying Mutineer 1, Inspiration 2, Kauhoe 3.
