A PETITION TO KING EMMANUEL. Received February 26, 11.1 p.m. ROME, February 26. Ninety-one members of the Italian Chamber of Deputies have petitioned King. Emmanuel to pardon Signor Nunzio Nasi, Minister for Public Instruction in 1903, who has been found guilty of misappropriation of public funds, and sentenced to 350 days' imprisonment.
