BRITISH COLUMBIA AND THE JAPANESE. ACT INOPERATIVE. Received February 26, 11.1 p.m. OTTAWA, February 26. The full Court of British Columbia has upheld Chief Justice Hunter's decision that the Act recently passed by British Columbia dealing with the questoin of immigration was inoperative as regards Japanese, beAcause it is against the Anglo-Japan-*ese treaty.
