Accident to a Tram Conductor.

WELLINGTON, February 23,

A tram conductor, named Petherick, was knocked off a tramcar at Courtenay Place yesterday. A horse and trap came along at the time and Petherick was struck on the head as he lay on the ground, receiving injuries which necessitated his removal to the hospital, where he is progressing favourably.
