ENTERTAINMENTS.

MONTGOMERY'S ENTER-

TAINERS

At the Town Hall, to-morrow evening, Montgomery's Entertainers commence a three nights' season. Since the last visit of the company many novelties in the animated picture line have been acquired by Mr Montgomery. The pantomime series, "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieve?," is highly spoken of by the press. A set offilms, entitled, "The King and His Navy," should be of interest. Mr Montgomery has a large supply of humorous films. Illustrated songs by members of the company, will be a special feature of the entertainment. The rates of admission and other particulars appear in the advertising columns.

"THE BLUE MOON. MrJ. C. Williamson's new Musical Comedy Company will appear here for one night only on Saturday next, presenting the musical comedy "The Blue Moon." Speaking of "The Blue Moon" a contemporary says: "There is a charm and allurement about 'The Blue Moon' that cannot be denied, and a careful analysis seems to reveal the fact that its undoubted success is due more to its all round merits than to any one or two particularly brilliant items. Where 'The Blue Moon* scores heavily is that its interest is unflagging. 'The Blue Moon' seems to have completely captured 'he taste of the public." The box plan will be opened at Miss Rive's on Tuesday morning.
