ABDUL AZIZ AND THE KAISER
Received February 9. 5.30 p.m. MOROCCO, February 8." Abdul Aziz, interviewed at Madin, stated that when the Kais?r offered to protect Morocco against French severity he accepted the offer, but finding that the Kaiser would do nothing, though the French advance, continued, he lost all confidence, and again went over to France, which he considered ought to provide the means to enable him to regain Fez.
