Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale held on Friday, as follows: —More sheep camy forward than were entered, also more cattle. A large ■attendance of tha public. Bidding was brisker under the hammer than at previous sales, and we sold all stock in except one small pen of wethers. We quote Two-tooth ewes to 15s, 2-tooth wethers to 123 lOd, fat wethers 14s 6ct, fat ewe 3 123 6d, breeding ewes to 103 6d, cull lambs 43 2.1 to cull ewes to 7s 2d, empty cow 3 £2 2s, forward cows £2 7s, heifers 26a, weaners 10s, bu'ls to 20s, pigs to 15s 6d. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd. also report having a clearing sale on account Mr N. T. Larsen, Nireaha, on Thursday, 30th. Bidding was biisk for both sheep and cattle. Ewes (aged) brought 10s, lambs 7s 3d, rams to 245, small 2-tooth wethers 12s Bd, cows to £5 12s, heifers 265, horse trap and harness 20s, milk carwto 15s 6d, fowls 2s per pair. Futfiiture, etc., at fair values.
