A young man finds himself compelled to devote himself to losing a high sum of money in a given time, and under conditions which forbid him from seeking his goal by any of the spendthrifts shortest road to ruin. He does his best according to his lights, but of course everything ho touches has a way of turning into gold, whether in the way of a wild-cat invesrnenfc or theatrical enterprise, the backing of. outsiders, or the wild extravagance of the most showy steam - yacht ever realised upon the stage. The company' engaged by Mr WilIfcunson is headed by Mr Thomas Kingston and Mrs Brough.
