METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m., yesterday, Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for* the subsequent 24 hours: — Wind —Moderate to strong and generally from the southward at places north of Napier and New Plymouth, but northerly strong to gale after from 12 to 20 hours at all places. Barometer Rise slowly northward of Napier and New Plymouth; fall everywhere else. Warning signal for northerly sale is exhibited at Capes Campbell, Foulwind and Farewell Spit, and for westerly gale at Nugget Point.
