TRIAL OF HARRY THAW. LIMITATION OF EXPERT EVIDENCE. Received January 24, 10.40 p.m. NEW YORK, January 24. The trial of Harry Thaw for the murder of Stanford White, at the Madison Square Garden Theatre, was continued yesterday. Doctor Wagner, a lunacy expert, deposed that Thaw told him that White, invited him (Thaw) in 1900, to one of his parties in Madison Square tower. Thaw afterwards saw White in New York Theatre with Evelyn Nesbitt (Mrs Thaw). An acquaintance said that she belonged to White and Thaw rejoined: "I don't see how such a girl can care for White who, with his reddish hair, looks like an ape." The judge decided to Ifmit the prosecution and defence to three experts each.
