AUSTRALIAN LEGISLATION. BRITISH MANUFACTURERS ANXIOUS. Received January 24, 7.50 a.m. LONDON, January 23. Messrs E. Glover and J. K. Kenningham, representing the owners of the proprietary articles section of.the London Chamber of Commerce, are sailing for Australia in order to watch the proeress of the Federal Bill dealing with the importation of proprietary patent medicines and foods into Australia, and to interview the Minister in charge of the Bill in order to, if possible, obtain the withdrawal of the measure and the substitution of a schedule of drugs whose presence should be declared.
