CARTERTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent ) 1 ' Thursday. The fortnightly meeting of the Oddfellows' Lodge, 1.0.0.F.M.U., was held in the Foresters' Hall last evening. There was a fair attendance of members, and Bro. Lamb, N.G., presided. The social committee's report was read and adopted. Two friends were proposed for membership. The funeral of' the late Mr E. S. Maunsell took place at Waihakeke, this afternoon. The Rev/R. Youne, Vicar of S. Mark's Church, Carterton, condacted the services at the graveside.
