SOMETHING FOR STOCKOWNERS.
The proprietors of "Oxol" preparations—highly regarded by stockowners in Britain and America—are introducing them to the dominion. They are scientifically-prepared medicines for the chief ailments which affect stock, and are put up in a form which enables the farmer to administer them with safety and ease. For instance,"Oxol" balls for horses may be mixed with the food or in drinking water. The same with the special compounds for calves. The "Oxol" drench for calves is declared to be very effective in keeping the young stock in good health and for putting on condition. Two preparations which should always be at hand are "Milking Pomadium" for sore teats; and "Soothing Ointment" for wounds and bruises in cattle and horses. The "Oxol" Cattle Food Company also provides a special powder which is said to be very eflicacious in pig troubles. These several preparations are being introduced in every district, but only one agent is to be appointed in each locality.
