MAN SCALDED TO DEATH.
♦ FELL INTO A BOILING POOL. BY TKIjKCIRAI'H—I'RESS ASSOCIATION. ROTORUA, January 21. A man, named Rodney Graham, aged 28, fell into a boiling pool at -Ohinernutu, last night, about 11 o'clock. His cries for help were heard by the natives, but in consequence of the steam they were unable to locate his whereabouts for some time. He was eventually rescued, but expired a few minutes after, death being the result of shock. Graham arrived here on Saturday last from Opotiki, where he had been working. He had told an acquaintance that he came from Australia, and that his "parents resided there. The deceased had been seen by the natives during the day, and was then under the influence of drink.
