Bequest to Gore Hospital.
GORE, January 18. Mr Thomas Wright, farmer, of Waimumu, who died en Wednesday last, left by his will £SOO for a maternity ward, and £SOO for a children's ward in the Gore Hospital. Mr Wright, who was a bachelor, 67 years of age, lived at Waimumu for many years. He was an Irishman, and came to this district from Canterbury. The bequest carries' a Government subsidy of pound for pound.
