The Mining Deadlock.

POSITION AT DENNISTON. WESTPORT, December 23. The deadlock at Denniston between the Westport Coal Company and the miners continues. The management insists upon the men observing the award, and the men have decided to abide by the eight hours bank-to-bank law, and work on the system of hours followed since 16th November.
