GRAND BAZAAR AT FEZ

Received December 23, 10.50 p..m MOROCCO, December 23.
Owing to alarmist reports, spread by the Uedelhadj tribe, a mob sacked the Grand Bazaar at P'ez. and attacked the French Post Office at Iquique . Twenty-three nitrate workers at Alianz in the Iquique district struck. Severe rioting followed. The troops were summoned and dispersed the rioters, seven of whom were killed, and sixteen wounded.
