THIRTEEN BODIES DISCO VSERD—THREE HEADLESSTWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY MEN HOPELESSLY ENTOMBED. Received December 22, 4.25 p.m. NEW YORK, December 21. All hopes of rescuing the remainder of the miners entombed through the explosion at the Pittsburg Coal Company's Narr Mine, at Jacob's Creek, have been practically abandoned. Thirteen boriies have been discovered terribly mutilated. Three were headless. Two hundred and fifty men are entombed in the workings.
