It is the intention of the match committee to get this event completed before the Christmas holidays, and consequently the dates fixed for the completion of the respective rounds will be adhered to. In this connection it will be advisable for as many of the competitors as possible to pfay off their matches this afternoon.

Entries for the Ladies' Handicap Singles competition will definitely close to-day.
