♦ Mefsrs John Strauchon (Commissi jner of Crown Lands), A. Reose, J. Dawson, and J. M. A'Court attended a special meeting nf the Wellington Land Board on Thursday. TKe following titles were approved: —Section 2a, Block IX, Makuri, R. Forster; section 6, Block 1, Puketoi, E. J. -Di&mond; section 66, Block XII, Makuri, A. J. Diamond. Trarsfers were approved as follows:—Section 37, Block IV, Mount Cerberus, W. J. Rountree to G. H. Fulcher; section 56, Block XVIII, Manga ha Qf- 'Mrs E. M. Mcßeth to B. C. SmUflL' - An application of the Eketahuna County Council for a certain.area to be set aside as a gravel pit was approved, a previous resolution on the matter being rescinded.
