ANTI-MILITARISM.
A SOCIALIST IMPRISONED. Received October 14, 9.56 a.m. BERLIN, October 13. Dr. Karl Liebkecht has been sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment in a fortress for high treason in fomenting anti-militarism. The opinion iu Berlin is that the prosecution assures Dr. Liebknecht the future leadership of the Socialists. Received October 14, 11.55 p.m. LONDON, October 14. Bishop Gore, in the course of a speech at Birmingham, declared that he was profoundly convinced that the way to avoid dangers of militarismjs to strengthen the chic army.
