Poseidon, owing to his defeat at Randwick, yesterday, has been knocked back in the Caulfield Cup betting, and 10 to 1 can now be obtained about him. Subterranean, on the other hand, has advanced in favour, and has been well supported at 5 to 1; 11 to 2 is taken and wanted. In expectation that a movement would be made by those connected with lolaire and Apologue, punters have stepped in and taken 100 to S about each. Other prices are, 14 to 1 Ebullition, Bendigo and Yabba Gabba, 16 to 1 Booran. There is little or no betting over the Melbourne Cup, for which Apologue is nominal favourite at 7 to 1. Zinekie has been scratched for all engagements.
