NEW ZEALAND RIFLE TEAM.

By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 4. The team to represent New Zealand at the Rifle Meeting in Australia left by the Wimmera, this afternoon. This morning the men were addressed by the Minister of Defence and Colonel Collins, and the latter saw them off by the steamer. The following rifleshots also went with the team to take part in various competitions:—W. and C. Speck, Hururoa; J: R. Franklin, Weber; W. Judd, Karori; T. Muggeridge, Palmerston North; J. Meyers, Hikurangi.
