A MISSING BARQUE.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, October «. The barque Empreza, owned by Messrs J. J. Craig, Ltd., of Auckland, is missing, and some anxiety is felt regarding the vessel, and her crew. The baraue is under the command of Captain Goertz, late mate of the Handa Isle. She sailed from Auckland on August 19th, and called in at Whangarei, where she loaded 320 tons of coal for Kaipara. The barque sailed from Whangarei on September 6th, and was sighted off Mangonui on September 16th by Captain Mathieson, of the barque Aldebaran, bound from Newcastle to Auckland. On September 19th the lightkeer>er at Cape Maria Van Diemen "reported that the Empreza had passed south at 1 p.m. on that date. No tidings have since then been received of the vessel.
