MINISTERS' TRAVELLING ALLOWANCES AND EXPENSES.

WELLINGTON, October 1
A return showing the amount received by Ministers for travelling allowances and expenses during the year ended March was laid on the table of the House to-day. The figures are respectively:--Hon. J. Carroll, £246 and £l2l 3s 7d; Hon. G. Fowlds, £159 and £ll9 12s Id; Hon. J. A. Millar, £145 10s and £46 14s; Hon. R. McNab, £143 5s and £lll 8s; Hon. J. McGowan, £l4l and £llO 8s 9d; Hon W. Hall-Jones, £ll4 and £155 13s 7d; Hon. T. Duncan, £lO3 10s and £52 lis 4d; Sir J. G. Ward, £B2 10s and £2lO 8s sd; Hon. A. Pitt. £79 10s and £56 8s 3d; Dr. Findlay, £43 and £SO 13s 9d; Hon. C. H. Mills, £43 and £69 19s 6d; late Mr R. J. Seddon, £33 and £l3B 4s. Totals, £1,334 5s and £1,243 5s 3d."
